The Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) is being led by a Chairman Evan Power, who is a drunk driver and RPOF Vice Chairman Jovante Teague, who is a disgraced fired prison guard involved in alleged salacious sexual actions at the Dixie County Jail.

According to the Tallahassee Democrat "Evan J. Powers was arrested and charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence with property damage, according to a Tallahassee Police Department report. Power, who refused to take a breath test, was later released from the Leon County Jail on a $500 bond."
The article continued, "Power crashed his Infiniti into another parked vehicle at 6 PM on Eighth Avenue in midtown Tallahassee. The wreck was witnessed and called in by an off-duty officer walking his dog."
When officers arrived, they found Power at the scene. The arrest report noted Power had an odor of alcohol, bloodshot eyes, and slurred speech. Power started field sobriety exercises but refused to finish them and was arrested. Power would later refuse to submit to a breath test and was released on a $500 bond. In an enclosed video, Power can be heard laughing after police notify him, he is being taken to jail. The arresting officer in video states that Power "reeks of alcohol."
Power, who is the Chairman of the RPOF escaped being convicted of being a drunk driver with a loaded firearm in his car, despite being viewed in the enclosed video of a drunk Power being interviewed by a police officer and laughing about being arrested and taking to jail.
In Florida, politically connected individuals like Power receive a reckless driving conviction with no jail time and paying a $500.00 fine after driving drunk, while the politically unconnected get jail sentences and thousands of dollars in court costs.
Teague
Teague, as the Vice Chairman of the RPOF would succeed Power if he gets drunk again and awaits a trial to get charges reduced. Teague’s has had various salacious sex allegations with an inmate dropped to a single misdemeanor charge of smuggling contraband – the handwritten notes attributed to him – into a Dixie County detention facility.
Teague became Vice Chairman of RPOF despite being a fired prison guard passing notes to an inmate in e FDLE investigation concerning salacious sexual interactions with that inmate.
Donalds
The newly elected Vice Chairman of the RPOF ran a shadow campaign to challenge then current Vice Chairman Jesse Phillips, literally the night before the election and being promoted for that position by U.S Congressman and now announced candidate for Governor Byron Donalds.
Details of the FDLE investigation have not been revealed until now, which include Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) uncovered notes handwritten by Teague. The notes “clearly indicated” a romantic relationship and sexual contact with a female inmate.

Excerpts from the FDLE investigation of the fired prison guard Teague:
On November 2, 2017, the Dixie County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) advised FDLE SA Perez that DCSO Detention Deputy (Dep.) Jovante' Teague had allegedly become involved in an inappropriate relationship with a female inmate who was being housed in the Dixie County Jail (DCJ). The DCSO indicated that Staff at the DCJ had noticed that Dep. Teague had been spending an inordinate amount of time communicating with inmate.
SA Perez initiated a review of the handwritten questioned documents that were allegedly authored by Dep. Teague that was recovered from inside inmate [lll assigned cell by the DCJ Staff. The author of the documents made numerous statements which clearly indicated, among other things, that there was a romantic interest in the recipient, and that there had been previous romantic and possibly sexual contact between the author and the recipient.
A former inmate further alleged that she witnessed Dep. Teague insert his fingers into inmate [Jl ce! vagina through the cell door and that Dep. Teague then placed his fingers inside of his mouth. One of the handwritten notes recovered from inmate [Jl ce! referenced how Dep. Teague could “taste.”

Only in the deep state of Florida where a totally ineffective and dysfunctional Democrat Party led by a failed Democrat Party Chairman Nikki Fried saying not a word, as a drunk driver like Power becomes Chairman of the RPOF and a fired prison guard becomes Vice Chairman of the RPOF.

Power and Teague are the same two disgraced RPOF officials, who are part of a RPOF leadership team has replaced elected Trump MAGA America First Manatee County State Committeeman Trent Wayman and Manatee State Committeewoman Jacki Heisse
The elected Wayman and Heisse were replaced by two handpicked unelected Power establishment flunky candidates, Jennings DePriest and Jayne Kocher.
The drunk driver Power, who is a flunky for million-dollar donors, could care less that Wayman’s replacement, DePriest has an over $183,000 IRS lien on his home or Heise's replacement Kocher has a $163,000 IRS lien on her home.
The RPOF leadership led by Power, Teague and others had no problem MREC members did not vote for Depriest, Kocher or the recent installed Chairman of the MREC, Mark Flanagan.

In Sarasota County the Power flunky Chairman of the Sarasota County Republican Party Jack Brill, who has Teague as his guest speaker on 6/12/25, has purged over 125 America First activists from the Sarasota Republican Executive Committee (SREC).
Those purged included leaders of the MAGA America First activists, Connie Brunni and Michelle Pozzie. Either one would have defeated Brill for Chairman of the SREC with the over 125 purged America First activists.
